Creativity, adventure, and movement have always been central to my life. Born in South Africa and raised between there and the UK, I grew up with a deep awareness of cultural diversity and the complexity of belonging. These early experiences nurtured a sensitivity to identity, inclusion, and the environments we move through — both internal and external. They also cultivated in me a flexibility to adapt and connect across difference.
I’ve always been curious about the nature of being human — what it means to live with awareness, to find meaning, and to relate authentically to ourselves and others. This curiosity, along with my own healing journey, eventually led me to train as a psychotherapist, yoga teacher, and yoga therapist specialising in trauma and anxiety.
I studied Psychotherapy and Counselling at Regent's University in London (PGDip), Yoga Therapy for Anxiety and PTSD with The Minded Institute, and Yoga for Trauma, Resilience and Social Impact with the Golden Mandala School of Yoga. I qualified as a yoga teacher with Sun Power Yoga in Leicestershire. I am an accredited member of the BACP and have been in practice as a therapist for over 10 years.
I am queer-allied, racial justice-allied, and committed to inclusive, affirming practice.
I currently live and work in Newcastle.
