I'm an experienced, accredited psychotherapist offering support with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, relationship issues, identity, and trauma.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step — especially if you're used to managing on your own or being the one others rely on. I provide a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can speak freely, reflect deeply, and connect honestly with yourself.
Our work together can support you to process your experiences, deepen self-understanding, and create meaningful change.
My approach is relational and non-directive. I don’t diagnose or give advice; instead, I work collaboratively, encouraging exploration of your inner world and life context. I draw on psychodynamic and existential approaches to support our work.
Existential Therapy
Grounded in philosophical inquiry, existential therapy explores themes such as meaning, freedom, responsibility, and mortality. It invites reflection on your values, choices, and sense of purpose — helping you cultivate courage, acceptance, and clarity.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic therapy looks at how early experiences, unconscious processes, and relational patterns shape your present. Together, we may explore recurring emotions, themes, dreams, or dynamics to help uncover what’s holding you back and open space for insight, healing, and growth.
I’m neurodiversity-affirming and support clients exploring or navigating neurodiverse experiences and assessments. I'm also committed to working inclusively with LGBTQIA+ clients and people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I'm passionate about themes of identity and belonging, and I approach each person’s lived experience with openness and sensitivity to the broader political and social context that shapes who we are.
I offer a free initial 15 minute call to connect and discuss working together. The first session is an opportunity for us to see if working together feels right for us both. Please email me to book an initial call: hello@sanctuarywithsarah.com
